Leigh and Rob Blood came to Captain Fairfield by way of Nantucket where they managed two bed and breakfast inns and currently own a 21 room boutique hotel, The Veranda House. Before Nantucket, both Leigh and Rob spent time teaching and coaching in secondary and higher education.

Since moving to Kennebunkport in May of 2004, Rob and Leigh have been wholly invested in creating a new bed and breakfast experience for their guests. “We feel that the Inn and the experience you get when you stay here is unique because of the historic nature of our home coupled with the modern amenities that we offer."
